For Leaders and Volunteers

We are always looking to recruit adult helpers. If you feel that you have a particular skill that you would be prepared to share with young people then please get in touch.

You will need to have a CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) check which we can arrange for you. You will be invited to attend Advisory Panel meetings which are held every 3 months. You will also have the opportunity to participate in any training which is available - usually this would involve First Aid training, Health and safety training, Assessor Accreditation and possibly BEL, WGLA or ML (all expedition qualifications) if funding for this can be found.

If you are already involved in a school or youth group and would like to run the Award with the young people you work with then please contact Rose Hislop, Award Development officer on rose@hislop.co.uk. Rose will arrange to meet you and will explain what is involved.
